Office Manager
Jessie is the Office Manager of Liberty Veterinary Medical Center. She began her career in veterinary medicine after she graduated from Long County High School in 2007 and began working as a veterinary assistant with Dr. Maurice Sweat for Liberty Veterinary Clinic. In 2013, Dr. Christa Parrish-Ahrens purchased the practice and pursued her career in management and leadership. Rewarding moments include the building of relationships with the clients and patients throughout the years, which she finds fulfilling. Her dog, Daisy, and cat, Cami is her babies of whom she loves dearly. Jessie is a local resident who grew up in the small town of Ludowici. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and her favorite places to spend her spare time are on the rivers and beaches of Southeast Georgia. Her interests include cooking, fishing, boating, water sports, outdoor activities and camping on the Altamaha River and spending time at the beach of St. Simons Island. Over the many years of being part of the staff and long-term commitment to our hospital, her employment has much more meaning to her. She considers Liberty Veterinary Medical Center “home”.
Veterinary Nurse
Kelcey McCrorey is originally from Michigan and grew up in a small town called Richland. Her passion for rescuing and nurturing animals growing up has led her to a career in Veterinary Medicine. Kelcey’s favorite hobbies include horseback riding, wakeboarding, and spending time with her Siberian Husky, Nala. Kelcey also has a cat named Kudos. She has found since joining the Liberty Veterinary Medical Center team in August 2016, to be more involved with her work atmosphere and the animals. She attended college for 2 years and completed her prerequisites before moving to Georgia in 2016. Her goal is to go back to college to receive her degree as a Licensed Veterinarian Technician.
Veterinary Nurse
Jillian is originally from Seattle, Washington. She always has had a love of nature and a passion for animal care. In March of 2017, she and her husband Luke moved with their two cats, Cheddar and Sugar to Southeast Georgia. After settling in Georgia, they adopted two dogs Brandy and Tonto. Jillian is currently enrolled in completing her Associates of Science in Veterinary Technology through Ashworth College. Jillian enjoys hiking, kayaking, gardening, and exploring new places with her dogs.
